WEDNESDAY MORNING MEDITATIONS

Anyone can meditate and experience inner peace - we just have to learn how. In these practical classes, you will learn essential meditation techniques and how you can apply these to your own modern lifestyle to find a deeper and deeper happiness and inner peace. Discover how meditation can help you de-stress, solve your problems, and make your life more satisfying and meaningful. Everyone is welcome to any class, regardless of background or experience.
The classes will include a short talk on an aspect of Buddhist practice, breathing meditation, and an opportunity to discuss and ask questions. Talks are a part of a series, yet are self-contained. Each month we present a different series of classes.

Wednesdays 7:00 - 7:45 AM, weekly from 7/1, or drop in during June.
4 Week pre-registration encouraged - only $20 for 4 meetings.

ABOUT ALISE
Alise Halbert has been studying and practicing Buddhist meditation and philosophy since 2000. She has received teachings from her main teacher, Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, several times at Manjushri Centre in Northern England. Currently, Alise lives at Saraha Buddhist Center which is a part of the New Kadampa Tradition. She hasrecently completed a 3 week silent retreat and is very happy to teach and share her experience of meditation! She brings a warm heart and a light touch to her teachings.
