What Is Pilates?

Resulting in a leaner, longer, and stronger body, Pilates consists of more than 500 exercises performed on different types of equipment. Developed by Joseph Pilates, this exercise method incorporates the following:

  • Breathing
  • Concentration
  • Control
  • Relaxation
  • Rhythm & Flow
  • Balanced Muscular Development

The studio is equipped with Springboards, Allegro 2 Reformer, Spinal Corrector/ARC, exo Chair, as well as Magic Circles, Free Weights, and Therabands. 


Rehabilitation Training

Pilates Based Rehabilitation is a beneficial program for addressing pain and injury issues of the knees, back, hips, and shoulders. Using a holistic approach, we will attend to the body's imbalances and correct asymmetric and chronic weaknesses to prevent re-injury.

Please wear appropriate exercise clothing. MELT equipment/kits are at an additional cost.
