Mellow Hatha ~ Wednesdays 12:00 - 1:15 PM
This class will focus on opening the body and relaxing and releasing muscle tension through a gentle series of traditional hatha yoga poses. Restorative poses will be incorporated into the class to allow students the chance to relax completely before they continue on with their day. This class is suitable for beginners, pregnant women and advanced practitioners looking for a more meditative pace.
Prenatal Yoga ~ Saturdays 9:00 - 10:20 AM
Our
Pre-Natal classes are open to yoga students of all
levels of practice. The classes offer a carefully
selected series of Asanas (Postures) and breathing
techniques to restore balance and vitality while
deepening your awareness of pregnancy.
Concentration
and relaxation techniques assist in preparing for and
providing relief during labor and birth. Pre-Natal Yoga
helps relieve the physical and emotional discomforts
associated with pregnancy including back pain,
heartburn, constipation, swelling, sleeplessness,
depression and anxiety.
Family Yoga ~ Sundays October 2nd and November 7th ~ 4:30 - 5:00 PM
Come experience the joy of yoga with your family!
This class is perfect for parents and their children (ages 3 to 6 years) who want to practice
yoga together in a fun, relaxed environment. We will incorporate songs, stories, games and yoga
poses into our 30 minute class.
Parents and children new to yoga are welcome. $20 for up to the first three family members, $5 each additional.
ABOUT REBECCA
Rebecca Wyte, MSW completed her 200 hour teacher training at The Yoga Loft. She is certified through Its Yoga Kids as a children’s yoga teacher, has received her Relax and Renew Restorative Yoga certificate from Judith Lasater, and has also completed a 200 hour teacher training at The Integral Yoga Institute in gentle and raja yoga. Rebecca is the busy mother of a 6 year old, and this has lead to an appreciation of the importance of taking the time to slow down, relax and take care of one’s body and mind. Rebecca’s classes allow each student to have this experience regardless of their experience with yoga or their physical health. Rebecca has a master’s degree in Social Work, and her work at Bay Area Hospitals and the Golden Gate Regional Center has given her unique and compassionate approach to teaching yoga to a wide variety of children and adults. Rebecca strives to promote a safe, fun and nurturing environment for all her students.
